The numbers for the March auto sales are out and things are looking up. Manufacturers such as Honda, Volkswagen, Chrysler, GM, Ford and others saw increases in year over year new car and truck sales.
One vehicle line in particular, the Ford F-series, saw a huge spike in the amount of units moved.
According to Kansas City Business Journal reporter James Dornbrook, the Ford F-series truck had “sales up 16.3 percent to 67,513 in March compared with a year ago.”
Living in Texas, this hardly comes as a surprise. It seems like every month is “Truck Month” with dealers across the Lone Star State promoting deal after deal to get you behind the wheel of an extended cab, crew cab, light duty, medium duty, etc.
And this is not just a trend for March 2013.
