30 award-winning vehicles worth considering
Unprecedented levels of quality mean it’s harder to choose a bad car these days, according to auto research company Kelley Blue Book.
Yet with so many good new cars rubbing shoulders, there are still certain models that have something extra to get their heads in front. Kelley Blue Book and Edmunds have put together two lists, totaling 30 vehicles, to help you find them.
KBB’s Best Buy Awards of 2018 identify the top choice for most buyers in each of 12 categories, plus an overall best-buy recommendation, from extensive road tests, reviews and data like resale value. They’re all 2018 models. The 2018 Edmunds Buyers Most-Wanted Awards, meanwhile, recognize the 17 most popular vehicles among car shoppers based on sales of all models from the first nine months of 2017, as well as shopping trends. They celebrate “the one vehicle in each segment that is winning both the hearts and wallets of car buyers.”
